I was born in China and have a background in genomics, bioinformatics, and statistics. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Qingdao University, China. During my undergraduate studies, I participated in an exchange program at Missouri State University in the U.S. and trained as a joint student at BGI, China. Later, I obtained a Master of Science degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing Institute of Genomics/China National Center for Bioinformation. After my studies, I worked as a data PM at PatSnap, and then I joined Zhejiang Lab, China, as a bioinformatician.
Currently, I am a PhD student in the Microbiome Dynamics group at Leibniz-HKI, where my research focuses on associating native gut microbiota profiles with cancer cachexia across different types of cancers.
Outside of research, I enjoy hiking, cycling, and traveling to explore diverse landscapes and cultures.
