I come from Zhangjiajie, Hunan, a place famous for its mountains and landscapes and well worth a visit.
I obtained my Master’s degree from Tongji University in Shanghai, China. In 2026, I started my PhD at HKI in Jena. My current research interests focus on the gut microbiome and its links to chronic diseases and aging.
Outside the lab, I enjoy traveling and discovering new places, either with no fixed plan at all or with a very detailed itinerary prepared in advance. I also like cooking, doing DIY and handcrafts, and listening to music, especially R&B.
